The shooting locations are Saigon Central Post Office, Cho Lon market and Dragon Fountain which is near Cho Lon market and Mong walking bridge in the downtown of Ho Chi Minh City. These places are landmarks of Saigon and related to the daily life of Saigon people. Fixer in Vietnam has arranged all permissions to put the cooking table, different kind of food boxes, charcoal grill and even LPG tanks in front of Saigon Central Post Office to shoot the whole process of making broken rice with grilled pork chop and Vietnamese sandwich.

For the first time ever, a group of reliable Vietnam film fixer has assisted a foreign production company in shooting a food show outdoor at touristy places and landmarks of Ho Chi Minh City. The challenge was setting up many props like cooking tables, LPG tank, soup pots, pans, bowls, knife, plates, vegetables, meat, pork chops, beef bone, shrimp, water...It took three hours to prepare all ingredients for the cooking of each dish.

The production of the show is not complicated but the preparation is very detailed and it took time to find suitable shooting locations as well as applying for a film permit.

Every day, the crew has brought dozens of food boxes of different sizes, cooking tables and cooking equipment to shooting locations. It wasted not only energy but also time.

But finally, the crew had a happy time together... A time of beer drinks in Saigon street.

Let's watch the show on TLC Asia at the end of 2016. It is a TV show which combines simplification and visualization of food making and travelogue in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.
