Series 4, E4: Vietnam - Reunification Express
Over 7 days, our Vietnam fixer and Chris travel the length of the North-South Railway, the so-called “Reunification Line”, an iron spine that runs from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi. We trace the roots of this great railway line through the French Colonial era which eventually collapsed into one of the bloodiest wars of independence the world has ever seen. We visit the beaches where the troops landed, Vinh Moc tunnels of the North army, the massive craters and sieged bridges and Chris plays a small role in the clean-up operation that continues to this day by detonating an unexploded bomb in the infamous DMZ.

At Fixer in Vietnam, we love a good challenge, and when Eagle Creek approached us about filming in Vietnam for their new campaign, we were all in. With the production we did with the Eagle Creek brand, we were inspired and motivated to go further and find our own unknown.
We traveled together from Hanoi up to Northwest Vietnam to discover the twisted roads through rice terraces and immense Thac Ba lake, flew to the so-called "Little Paris" to explore amazing waterfalls, and then traveled down to the so-called "Little Desert" of Vietnam to ride sand terrain by Utilities Task Vehicle (UTV).
